White Sands

White Sands is a lovely novelty in the surrounding area of West Texas and Southern New Mexico. A novelty I love introducing people to; especially when they've lived 1.25 hrs away their entire life and have never met the wonderous playland. ♥ Luckily, this weekend was nice enough to play in the cool sand with the sun lightly kissing your skin while listening to the screams of both young and old sleigh down the steep white hills. lol

Both Tury and Abby's first time here.... father and daughter time. :)

The sky loaned itself for some beautiful shots. Mid photo is where visitors can park and picnic or find a lil bit of cool shade.

The winds create their own form of artwork along the sands surface.

Like I said, both young and old can sleigh down the sandy hills. lol

My mini me.... he so dearly wants a snow board so that he can sand board. :D

This is our version of the beach without water or bathing suits. ;)
Needless to say, after going up and down the hills, everyone had fun and woke up today feeling pretty exhausted. The nice thing about going on a Sunday is that there are less folks visiting. The not so nice thing is that we all had to get up for work and school today with slight sunburns and sore legs. ;)
